Rooted in a belief that the everyday can be meaningful, our new café kiosk at TANGS brings the warmth of the neighbourhood into the heart of the city.

Inspired by the spirit of a farmer’s market stall—open, honest, and quietly abundant—this outpost distills our philosophy into a simple offering: thoughtful bakes, familiar rituals, and a moment of pause amidst the city’s pace.

Like a kiosk in a bazaar, it’s a place to gather, linger, and reconnect—with good coffee, wholesome food, and a sense of home, wherever you are.

Set within a tight footprint, the counter was conceived as a flexible, adaptable element rather than a fixed object. Responding to the spatial constraints, it works quietly to maximise both function and display without overwhelming the space.

Mirroring the rhythm and warmth of the terracotta floor tiles, the counter base is detailed with oak pegs integrated into its surface. When flipped down, these pegs transform into subtle display ledges—allowing Plain Vanilla’s products to be presented, rotated, and refreshed with ease. The gesture is small but intentional: a modular system that supports daily operations while echoing the craft, warmth, and considered simplicity of the brand.
